Established in 2010 we introduce samples of our contemporary, unique and original artwork created from stucco venetian plasters and microcement applications. Commissions can be taken to personalise requirements for specific designs/colour schemes. New images uploaded regularly, so please check back for our latest work.
Corporate logos can be produced in stucco to enhance reception areas, etc. and applied directly to the wall to seamlessly blend in with the interior design of the reception space.
Alta Decor
Introducing high decoration interior and exterior walls and ceilings created from beautiful Italian plasters including marmorino, travertino, raffaello and antico finishes ranging from soft subtle stone shades including banding and blockwork textures to a smooth high gloss finish. We also offer Mircocement finishes ideal for floors, walls, worktops, wet rooms.
The History of Italian Marble Plasters:
During the Renaissance period, Italians wanted to simulate the look and feel of polished marble and stone work without the constraints of the huge weight of real marble. Consequently they combined aged slake lime with fine marble dust, natural minerals and earth pigments, a technique which became known as Stucco/Venetian/Italian marble/polished plaster. Unlike painted surfaces, marble plaster provides an eco-friendly product as the material is mould and mildew resistant as well as being more durable and offering a wider choice of finishes and textures ranging from luxurious smooth high gloss metallics to authentic stone.
